Look For Fund Forum – we are waiting for submissions only till the end of September

Starting with its first edition, the International Festival of Film Producers REGIOFUN has become a place where film producers and representatives of Regional Film Funds (RFFs) from Poland and other European countries can meet. Our objective is to create common grounds for stable and fruitful cooperation between these two groups of professionals.

One of the ways to facilitate and strengthen such cooperation is our Look For Fund Forum, which is to feature as an accompanying event of the festival for the second time already.

The Forum is organized in the form of one-to-one meetings arranged between film producers and RFF representatives.

During the first edition of the festival 15 projects from Poland, Germany France, Czech Republic and Norway were accepted for the Forum, while its participants on the part of Regional Film Funds came from Poland, Norway, Germany, France and Belgium.

In the present edition 10 projects, whose producers are looking for support from RFFs, will be invited to participate in the Forum. This year the theme of the whole festival is “city”, with a special focus on the idea of “city placement”; therefore, various representatives of city councils will also be invited to participate in the Forum. Our purpose is to get city councils and authorities actively involved in film production, as well as to make them realize what profits such an involvement may bring.
